Office Administrator

Desctiption:
TTE Laboratories has an exciting opportunity for the right hard working candidate. We are a leader in the pipette calibration field and are growing. We need a new team member as an office administrator.

Required Hours: Fulltime

Primary Tasks: Processing and monitoring of Product Orders

  • entering new orders into Quickbooks
  • pulling stock and/or placing purchase orders with distributors for new stock
  • monitoring and closing out open orders
  • updating customers on order status, fielding customer service calls relating to open orders
AP/AR
  • entering distributor bills into Quickbooks
  • reveiving check and EFT payments into Quickbooks
  • processing credit card for payment into Quickbooks, assessing refunds to credit cards when applicable
  • deputy for payment of bills
  • deputy for invoicing calibration
Logistics
  • maintenence of product stock and inventory sheets
  • deputy for outbound and inbound shipping
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Detail oriented
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to learn new sofrware systems
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus
  • Basic computing knowledge (transferring files, combining PDF's, uploading documents, navigating between mulitple screens and windows)
  • Good knowledge of Excel/Word
  • Strong references
  • Able to pass background check and drug screening tests

Part-time Calibration Technician.

Part-time Calibration Technician at TTE Laboratories as well as On-site version at various customer locations.

Desctiption:
TTE is searching for a problem solver, who has good manual dexterity, a strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to follow set procedures. Calibration Technicians are responsible for the competent performance and timely completion of standard operating procedures related to pipette calibration, repair and/or validation testing. Calibration Techs must keep their work areas clean and should be familiar with and are responsible for following all ISO 8655 procedures for pipette calibration. Calibration Techs are required to meet with management on a yearly basis for a re-training, and be available for a bi-annual MANDATORY staff meeting. This position will require a highly organized individual with the ability to follow specific procedures without deviation. All necessary training will be provided by the Lab Manager. This candidate will also have to complete a customer service training as well as a driving training and screening.

$14/hr. (training wage)
$17hr (trained wage)

Inside Sales Representative/Lead Generator

Desctiption:
TTE Laboratories of Hopkinton, MA, a growing laboratory liquid handling product sales and service business, is hiring an Inside Sales/Lead Generator. Since we are a company that is growing, there are many growth opportunities for the right person. This is an entry level business to business lead generation position, targeting primarily the biotech industry. The qualified candidate must be able to work at a quick pace and have the necessary skills to research specific companies in targeted areas to obtain leads for sales associates to follow up on.

Skills:

Enthusiastic, trustworthy, self starter with a pleasant confident telephone manner and a strong work ethic would be the right fit of characteristics for this candidate.. Computer experience necessary and experience using Sales Force.com a plus. There will be a comprehensive training available for the correct individual. A science background is a plus but not a must.

Inside Sales Representative/Lead Generator

Sales Associate/ Regional Metrology Site Manager
MUST BE: Within commuting distance of Pearl River NY

TTE Laboratories Inc. of Hopkinton, MA has an exciting opportunity for the right independent and highly motivated candidate. This entry level position has extensive growth potential and involves two separate roles that will be varied and engaging. The majority of the time will be spent gaining TTE Laboratories more sales opportunities in the New York and New Jersey region as a calibration service provider. This role will be accomplished through lead generation and cold calling. The expectation of pace for this position will be high. The correct individual for this job will be a go getter and possess a strong work ethic. For the remainder of the time this employee will be working at a Pearl River Biotech as TTE Laboratories on site calibration/metrology manager. This role will require the ability to perform excellent customer service and handle the logistic of TTE performing all of the pipette calibrations for this client. TTE has a 25 year history of delivering excellent superior liquid handling products and services to the premier companies in New England, and is poised for substantial growth in our marketplace due to our reputation for excellence.

Job Desctiption:
TTE Laboratories plans to utilize this versatile, independent candidate for two roles: Sales Associate and the metrology site manger for our client located in Pearl River New York. The schedule will be split within these two areas. The Sales Associate will be responsible for all Product and Service Sales in assigned New York/New Jersey area: Biotech, Pharma, and Diagnostic Testing accounts. As Metrology site manager for our client in Pearl River New York you will be responsible for assisting our customer with their metrology needs and the logistics of using TTE Laboratories as their sole calibration service provider. They will report to the Director of Sales and the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet or exceed yearly sales expectations for service and products.
  • Develop service relationships with purchasing staff and lab management staff inside key prospective companies.
  • Follow up on all assigned leads.
  • Telephone sales calls required.
  • Track and report all sales activities and production on a weekly basis to TTE management.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings/calls.
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow strict SOPs
  • Ability to maintain proper asset status of pipettes
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to review certificates for errors/inaccuracies
  • Manage day to day metrology needs

Required Qualifications:

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills (writing, speaking, listening, conversation)
  • Intrinsic motivation to succeed in target markets
  • Creative: Work with customer to meet needs and deliver our service or products
  • BA or BS degree
  • Past work experience with positive references (3 professional and 2 personal)
  • Safe driving record with the required level of auto insurance coverage
  • Ability to attend meetings at TTE Laboratories when required (weekly)- by conference call
  • Local travel within the New York and New Jersey area using a dependable vehicle
  • Ability to maintain proper asset status of pipettes

Desired Qualifications:

  • Successful Laboratory Sales experience in the market area a plus
  • Independent time-management and record keeping skills
  • Familiarity with Sales Force or similar CRM software helpful
  • Metrology background a plus
  • Lab experience helpful
  • Detail and process driven
