Courier - Part Time

TTE Laboratories is searching for a driver/courier to pick up and deliver instruments in the Boston/ Metrowest area. Driver will be required to travel to different towns and companies Monday – Friday using a company car. Driver will be speaking to clients and potentially answering questions so understanding lab processes is a plus- training provided. Driver will coordinate with Lab Managers regarding daily routes.

Requirements:
Clean driving record
Ability to follow route schedule and driving directions
Must be comfortable driving in New England weather
Follow all traffic laws
Exhibit professionalism

Hours:
Approx. 9am – 2pm. Occasional routes may be longer.

Wage:
Negotiable

Metrology Site Manager - Full Time

Location: A leading biotechnology company in Cambridge, MA based biotech and one morning shift at TTE Laboratories.

Task: To utilize proper training to perform pipette management tasks that meet the needs and expectations of the customer's metrology department.

Job Scope: 
Pipette Calibration Program: Day to Day. Oversee and manage the day to day logistics of the pipette calibration program. Work with the internal software pipette tracking system to achieve this task - (training provided)
Maintain proper asset status and update as needed in order to prevent overdue calibration of pipette assets
May include review of certificates for errors/inaccuracies
Manage necessary revisions, data entry to system database. Participate in OOT investigation activities

Site manager Tasks:
Site manager will develop and cultivate relationships with users, lab managers and quality personnel to provide valuable information on the use, calibration and prevention maintenance of pipettes.
Site manager will facilitate communication with the TTE sales team regarding trainings, demos and matching pipette choices to applications.
Site manager will also assist in the billing to payment process to meet the payment terms agreed upon in the service contract.

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree, Science discipline preferred, lab experience a plus. Detail oriented with strong math skills. Excellent communication skills, create relationships and trust- Work as an intermediary between two companies. Speed at Data entry. Ability to learn new software systems. Knowledge of pipettes a plus. Basic computer knowledge (transferring files, combining PDF's, uploading documents, navigating between multiple screens and windows). Good knowledge of Excel/Word. Strong references. Clean Driving record. Able to pass background check and drug screening.

Inside Sales Representative - Full Time

This is a business to business lead generation/ inside sales position targeting medical research, Biotech and Biopharma organizations. The qualified candidate will be responsible for researching, identifying, and contacting nationwide and local prospects that fit our ideal customer profile. Duties will include new business development including cold calling and qualifying prospects that show interest in taking the next steps with our company as well as general customer service. Additional general office duties could be expected and other tasks may be assigned as required.

Must be enthusiastic self-starter with a pleasant confident telephone manner, ability to prioritize and strong work ethic. Computer experience necessary and experience in using SalesForce.com a plus, otherwise training will be provided. Many growth opportunities exist within the company. Compensation: 40 hours (base) plus commission.

Calibration Technician - Part Time

TTE is searching for a problem solver, who has good manual dexterity, a strong mechanical aptitude and an ability to follow set procedures. Calibration Technicians are responsible for the competent performance and timely completion of standard operating procedures related to pipette calibration, repair and/or validation testing. Calibration Techs must keep their work areas clean and should be familiar with and are responsible for following all ISO 8655 procedures for pipette calibration. Calibration Techs are required to meet with management on a yearly basis for a re-training, and be available for a bi-annual MANDATORY staff meeting. This position will require a highly organized individual with the ability to follow specific procedures without deviation. All necessary training will be provided by the Lab Manager.

Sales Associate - New England Territory

TTE Laboratories Inc. of Hopkinton, MA is seeking a motivated service-minded sales professional to represent our high quality products and services to the fastest growing biotechnology region in the United States. TTE has a 25 year history of delivering excellent superior liquid handling products and services to the premier companies in New England, and is poised for substantial growth in our marketplace due to our reputation for excellence. Job Description: The Regional Sales Associate will be responsible for all Product and Service Sales in assigned New England Biotech, Pharma, and Diagnostic Testing accounts. They will report to the Director of Sales and the CEO.

  • Meet or exceed yearly sales expectations for service and products.
  • Develop service relationships with purchasing staff and lab management staff inside key prospective companies.
  • Follow up on all assigned leads.
  • Telephone sales calls required.
  • Track and report all sales activities and production on a weekly basis to TTE management.
  • Attend weekly sales meetings/calls.
